The physical generally takes between 20 and 30 minutes. It
includes a health history, vision and hearing exam, heart and lung auscultation,
blood pressure/ height/ weight, neuromuscular examination and
urinary analysis.
Because the examination is needed for occupational
purposes and not for a health condition, insurance companies do
not cover the cost. However, our doctors perform these
physicals at a substantially reduced fee as compared to the current
fees of this area. Our charge for the complete physical is $85.
We will need you to provide a copy of your driver's license as proof of identity, a complete list of all current medications (including over the counter and supplements), their dosage, and prescribing doctor's name. It is not necessary to bring in your actual medications. We also need a list of all surgeries, as well as when and where they were performed.
